Matthew Mukisu holds an MA. Economics degree (University of Nairobi), BSc. Agricultural Economics (Egerton University), CPAK, ACI Accreditation and is an ICPAK (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya) member.

Mr. Mukisu is a career financial markets professional with over twelve years banking experience in Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and ALM, Product Control/ Middle Office and Project Management. He has extensive exposure to financial markets products (including derivatives) and banking products. He is currently working with the Capital Markets Authority as the Manager Derivatives. He previously worked with the Commercial Bank of Africa as the Head of Financial Risk Management and with Standard Chartered Bank in various capacities with the last role being the Deputy Regional Head, Product Control Financial Markets Africa where he gained valuable exposure to the regional financial markets.
